# Authorization Grant

The Authorization Grant is an [OAuth](/glossary/o/oauth) credential representing the resource owner's [authorization](/glossary/a/authorization) to access a resource. It consists of either user login credentials or a [refresh token](/glossary/r/refresh_token).
