# Band Steering

The **Band Steering** view allows you to enable and configure [band steering](/glossary/b/band_steering) for the device.

| Steering Policy | [RSSI](/glossary/r/rssi) or [bandwidth](/glossary/b/bandwidth). |
| Threshold | Bandwidth or RSSI threshold value. |


### Enable Band Steering

To enable band steering:

* Click **Enable** toggle
* Choose steering policy
* Set threshold value to use for the selected policy.
