# Single Sign-On

Single sign-on - SSO - is the process of providing shared [authentication](/glossary/a/authentication) and [authorization](/glossary/a/authorization) for multiple systems. This allows a user to sign in once, and seamlessly use multiple systems with the same set of credentials.
